Rating: **1/2

Sui Dhaaga is a film which tells us the story about the struggle of Mauji (Varun Dhawan) and Mamta (Anushka Sharma), that how a common man struggles throughout his life to be a successful person.

Set in a small town in India Mauji is a contended hard-working person who always gives his best and it has a positive attitude towards life.

One day when Mauji's wife Mamta sees him clowning at a wedding reception on his boss' insistence. She instigates him to live a life of dignity and asks him to do what he does best, and Mauji kicks his job and picks up his neighbour's sewing machine which is lying in his house and plonks himself on the streetside hoping to be self-employed. How he cuts the barriers to be an entrepreneur designing clothes with a "Made In India" label, forms the crux of the tale.

The film gives you a realistic view of the real-life struggle of many budding aspirants who want to do something on their own.

All the performances are top-notch. Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma look good.

The writing seems a bit weak. The predictable storyline and dialogues have dampened the spirit.

Technically it's a good film with great production values which enhance the cinematic experience.

Overall, Sui Dhaaga is a good film which can be better with little more efforts!
