Sanya's Bollywood debut film Dangal saw the actress essaying the role of a wrestler where Sanya had to go under rigorous training and also chop off her hair.


While Sanya was seen as the bold, badass Chutki in the rooted film Pataakha, where the actress had to get into the skin of a village girl.


On the other hand, Badhaai Ho features Sanya Malhotra as the girl next door named Renne who is quite modern, independent and sensible.
