Music Director Shashwat Sachdev manages a coup of sorts by getting his dream singer Daler Mehndi to sing the title track for soon to release film "URI" - The Surgical Strike directed by Aditya Dhar & produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The film features Vicky Kaushal , Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam , Kirti Kulhari , Mohit Raina.


The music director said, "It was always a dream to have Daler Bhaji sing one of my compositions and stand here & see my dream come true is a blessing. Daler Bhaji was my reason to join the music industry. It was the Coca Cola Tour Daler Da , when i saw him perform to a packed audience of over 60,000 people and was blow away at the performance . It feels incredible to stand here at his studio in Delhi and see him sing today for my project.

Life has come a full circle.
