Total Dhamaal is the third installment of Dhamaal franchise and it has once again failed to impress. The first installment was a laughter riot, the second was somehow managed to bring a smile but this third installment has completely fallen flat.

The film's plot is not any different from the first one, it's just spin-off, where some computer generated and real animals have been added along with a familiar star-cast. There are new faces in the franchise, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Boman Irani are new additions along with Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra, and Pitobash Tripathy. There are some special appearances too which were really not required and was just a deliberate attempt.

All the characters set their 'misadventure' to find the hidden treasure in pairs and find themselves in some unwanted situations.

Well, there is no storyline and in brainless comedies, we usually don't need one. There are few punchlines which are so old and so lame that you won't even bother to pay attention to that.

The only respite in this film is Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, an estranged couple on the verge of separation and their bickering. Riteish Deshmukh is good on his part too.

We can't blame these actors for their performances, they have done justice to their characters, it's just the writing which has let everyone down. The writing is so weak that even all these actors failed to lift it up.

Then recreated versions of Paisa Yeh Paisa and Mungda already failed to please the fans. The constant echoes of Paisa Yeh Paisa in the background will give you some severe headache.

It seems that director Indra Kumar has purposely has done this and made this senseless film, which is suitable for children only.

Overall, it's a film which you can completely avoid and use your energy for something productive.
