Just a few days ago, beautiful newbie Aavya Gupta was crowned Miss Diva Of India International 2019. And even before the dust has settled on that news, the talented gal surprises us once more! She has just come out with her first single video La Fanaa released by T-Series.

Aavya has not only performed in this video as an actress, but has also lent her voice for it. Aha! Reminds us of Julie Andrews, who once enthralled her audiences in the Hollywood classic The Sound Of Music, where she performed, as well as sang her own songs, right at the beginning of her career.

Aavya is taken aback by the response to her debut. "I`m thrilled. When I started out doing advertisements, I wasn`t aware that my career would take a leap," quips Aavya. "But the Miss Diva Of India International 2019 win gave it a push and now I have already begun getting congratulatory calls and messages for the La Fanaa video. For my humble beginnings, this seems like a dream," she adds with a smile.

If all this is not enough, some on social media have been comparing her with face to Aishwarya Rai. "Please, don`t even go there. It will be too much for me to handle. I am just a newcomer trying to get a foothold in the industry," smirks Aavya, who admits she gets to hear this comparison once in a while. "I don`t want to be burdened by such comparisons. Don`t even mention it anywhere in media or social media." Oops! Sorry Aavya, but we already did. ;-)

So what`s next for this brainy beauty from Mumbai. Bollywood, we guess. "I have my fingers crossed," is all she reveals.
