The annual Indian Film Festival of Melbourne awards 2019 took place last night at the iconic Palais Theatre and the film that became a revolution in the space of content and conceptualization. Gully boy has taken it all over!

Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy walked away with the top gong of Best Film honor and this is a moment of pride and celebration for the whole Excel Entertainment's group as they crossed one more milestone and this surely calls for a celebration.

Zoya on the occasion said, `I am so excited. I am not going to forget this evening. This is my first award in the capacity of a producer. Gully boy was our first production. This is a good start. No one makes a movie alone and this wouldn't be possible without my producers, my co-writer, my incredible actors and every member of my cast and crew. 54 invincible artists worked on this album. I owe this night to all of them.`


Gully Boy was a film which stayed with everyone and because of its unique concept, the movie received accolades from all the quarters.

Zoya Akhtar has treated the audience with powerful, character-driven movies and her unique stories receive critical acclaim from all across. Being one of the most leading filmmakers, Zoya Akhtar will be back with more content and recently she announced the second season of the widely appreciated Web-Series Maid in Heaven.

Excel Entertainment has treated the masses with amazing movies which have gone ahead and done well at the box. The latest hit amongst the lot is Inside Edge, an Indian web series which created a huge rage amongst the audience.
