Fans of Ajay Devgn will be happy to hear that the actor has attached himself to another weighty project. The 'Singham' star has joined the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Parineeti Chopra in the war-drama 'Bhuj: The Pride of India'.
Ajay Devgn will play the part of Vijay Karnik who was an in-charge of the Bhuj airbase in Gujarat during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the film will be a celebration of unparalleled bravado shown by IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik(Ajay Devgn) and 300 women of Madhapur(Gujarat) who reconstructed the only IAF airstrip at Bhuj destroyed during 1971 Indo-Pak war, which was pivotal in India's victory in this war.
On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt will play Ranchordas Pagi, a Gujarat based location scout who helped save the lives of many Indian soldiers. Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, and Ammy Virk.
'Bhuj : The Pride of India' is currently being filmed in Hyderabad and will get a theatrical release of August 14, 2020.
