The Gujarat- based filmmaker Hansal Mehta has established himself as one of the best contemporary filmmakers. His hard-hitting films 'Shahid' and 'Aligarh' have left the audience in shock and awe, both starring the supremely talented Rajkumar Rao.
Hansal Mehta will be collaborating with Rajkumar Kumar for the sixth time in his upcoming social-comedy. Titled 'Turram Khan', it will star Rajkumar Rao opposite Nushrat Bharucha. The announcement came on the Rajkumar Rao's birthday, with the filmmaker tweeting, "Special people, a special film and a special day. Here's wishing our very own @RajkummarRao a very Happy Birthday and a special surprise. Our next film together @TurramKhan will release on January 31, 2020. @NushratBharucha"

Rajkumar Rao's last association with Hansal Mehta was biographical crime-drama 'Omerta', where he played Omar Sheikh; the terrorist responsible for the murder of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl. Rao was recently seen in 'Judgemental Hai Kya' opposite Kangana Ranaut.
