Talking about the film he says, "People So what was Madhuri's reaction to his script? "Narrating the script to her gave me a big high. She was positive," he says. Is he shifting to full-time direction now? "I'll never give up designing, that's my mother profession," he replies.

Vikram Phadnis has turned director. The fashion designer has set his eyes on direction after dressing up some of the most prominent Bollywood actors. And guess who he eyes as the lead actor—Madhuri Dixit.

"My film is a woman-oriented film and it demands a brilliant woman performer. Madhuri fits the bill perfectly. I don't care who's a big or small star. I have approached those actors who I believe will give a great performance." says Phadnis supporting his choice.

"Many believe that my association with fashion will make me end up creating a glamorous and flashy film, even though I am working on an emotional and sensitive subject."

Phadnis continues "I have to prove my credibility as a director and I know what my forte is. I know I'll be good with drama."
