The news of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone working together in Luv Ranjan's next has been going on for some time now, and according to the latest gossip Ranbir, Deepika and Ajay Devgan are almost confirmed to star in Luv Ranjan's next film.

A source close to the film has revealed that the film will be a drama based on the backdrop of Hindi heartland which will be the story of a father and son. Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen working together again after Prakash Jha's 'Raajneeti'.

While Deepika and Ranbir will be seen romancing once again on the silver screen after 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Tamasha'. The news of Deepika's presence in the film is still kept under wraps, as the film's director Luv Ranjan was accused of sexual harassment by an aspiring actress in the #MeeToo movement last year, which was totally dismissed by Luv.

The producers of the film are waiting for the film to be announced only after this matter cools down completely. On the other hand, Deepika will soon be seen in 'Chhapaak', directed by Meghna Gulzar, in which she will be seen playing the role of Acid Attack Survivor 'Lakshmi'. The film will be released on January 10 next year.
