Veteran Bollywood actor 'Viju Khote' is no longer with us. Viju had been battling many diseases for a long time. This morning, Viju died due to multiple organ failure. His relatives said that many parts of his body had stopped functioning.

Significantly, Bollywood's Veteran artist Viju Khote, most of all, was known for playing the role of 'Kalia' in Ramesh Sippy's film 'Sholay', which made him famous across the country.

Viju had worked in many super hit films in his 50 year plus-long Bollywood career, 'Sholay', 'Andaz Apna - Apna', 'China Gate', 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' to name a few. Viju was also actively involved in Marathi cinema and had worked in many Marathi films.

Apart from playing the character of 'Kalia', Viju was also famous for his role as 'Robert' in Rajkumar Santoshi's film 'Andaz Apna Apna'. Viju stepped into Bollywood with the 1968 film 'Anokhi Raat' and his last Bollywood film was 'Jaane Kyun De Yaaron' in 2018.

Viju is no longer among us, but the characters he played on his screen will always be immortal. As long as Bollywood cinema remains, he and his characters will always be remembered.
