Bollywood is seeing an increase in the trend of period action sagas from the past couple of years and films like 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat' are proof that these films are also received well by the audiences and critics alike.

Ajay Devgan had also announced his next historical drama based on the life of 'Tanaji Malusare' the famous military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who was instrumental in winning numerous battles for Chhatrapati Shivaji most famous being the battle of Sinhagad (1670).

The first look poster is super exciting and the look of Ajay as 'Tanhaji' is totally on point here. Now we can't wait to see how the look of the other stars of the film is going to be in this mega-budget saga.

Tanhaji has an ensemble star cast of Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar, Jagapati Babu, Pankaj Tripathi, Neha Sharma, and Ajinkya Rao. The film is directed by Om Raut and produced by Ajay Devgan, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. Tanhaji: The unsung warrior will release on January 10th, 2020.
