After delivering a stellar debut in Student of the Year 2, Ananya Panday is all set for her upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh. The actress opened up about her upcoming film in an interview with a leading daily about how her role differs in the movie from the original to add a comic twist to the dynamics of extramarital affairs to make it more relevant for the viewers.

The actress explains, shared `The generation of that decade could relate to it, and today's generation will associate with our version of the film"

Ananya continues, "In the past women didn't have such strong character. In our film, Bhumi and I have prominent roles. Our characters are more developed (than those in the original)(You'll see that) through our dialogues as well. Showcasing empowered women is inspirational.`

Ananya Panday, who has also emerged as the youth icon of the year, is also one of the most followed young actresses when it comes to her endeavors. The actress who debuted with 'Student of the Year 2' had been enjoying a massive fan following much before her entry into Bollywood, and after her debut, the following saw an even greater growth.

On the work front, Ananya will be next seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh which is all slated to release in December 2019 and Khaali Peeli which is Ananya's next project alongside Ishaan Khatter, all set to hit the theaters on the 12th of June 2020.
