Kriti Sanon, who is one of the most successful leading ladies of Bollywood is now all set to impress us with her yet another film and this time with a special film. Kriti will be seen playing a surrogate mother named in her next film which has been titled as 'Mimi' and there are reports which suggest that Kriti has started shooting for the film.

According to the latest news, Kriti has started shooting for Mimi in Rajasthan. Talking to the media, she said that "I am very excited about my first female-centric film because this film talks about a very important subject.".

'Mimi' is a Hindi remake of Award-winning Marathi Film film 'Mala Aai Vhaaychy'. Along with Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi will also be seen in the film in an important role. The film will be directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios. The film is slated to release next year.
