Vicky Kaushal's career is riding high on the success of 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and the actor has also got an interesting film line up which includes 'Bhoot: Haunted Ship' and the biopic of Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh where he will be playing the lead.

News is, that the lead actress of the film has also been finalized now and she is the beautiful 'October' actress Banita Sandhu. It will be exciting to see the young and fresh pair of both these actors and this will be Banita's second Bollywood film after her debut with Varun Dhawan in October.

Currently, Vicky Kaushal is shooting for Sardar Udham Singh and is based on the life of the revolutionary freedom fighter who was hailed as a hero after he went to London and killed former lieutenant governor of Punjab, Michael O Dwyer in revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Sardar Udham Singh is directed by Shoojit Sircar and the film is being produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. The film has a humongous budget of 120 crores and it is scheduled to release on October 2nd, 2020.
