Kangana Ranaut's fans are eager to see her as Thalaivi in Jayalalitha's biopic and piquing the curiosity of fans the makers of Thalaivi have now unveiled the first look of the superstar from the film.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first look poster of Kangana as Jayalalalithaa from Thalaivi on social media and wrote, "First look poster... Kangana Ranaut in #Jayalalitha biopic... Seeing the poster of Thalawi, it seems that Kangana is going to play the strongest character of her career in this film and it would not be wrong to say that it can also become the highest-grossing film of Kangana's career.

A short teaser has also been shared by the makers which depict the journey of Jayalalitha from an actress to the politician.



Thalaivi is being directed by Vijay and is being produced by Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh R Singh. 

The film is slated to release on 26 June 2020
