2019 ended on an extensive note with celebration galoring at Panchmahotsav 2019 held at Champaner, Panchmahal from 15th of December.

Showcasing the authenticity of the culture and continuing the tradition to promote tourism and encourage local economy, the cultural events from 25th of December to 29th December were the highlights of Panchmahotsav.


The Gala Celebration of Panchmahotsav 2019 got underway in the presence of Shri Bhupendrasinhji Chudasama (Hon. Education Minister of Gujarat), Shri Jaydrathsinhji Parmar [Hon.Minister of state for Panchayat, Agriculture & Environment (Independent Charge)], Shri Surendrabhai Patel (Hon.President of Kalika Mata temple Trust pavagadh), Shri Amit Arora (Hon.District Collector Panchmahal) and other dignitaries.


Tourism Minister of Gujarat, Shri. Jawahar Chavdaji visited on the 3rd day of Panchmahotsav.


Staying true to the roots and promoting employment, Panchmahotsav hosted Craft Bazar to encourage local craftsman and their work followed by Food Bazar which had delicious food including tribal food stalls.


Besides, the event also highlighted the importance of education of girl child in the country by encouraging 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao'.


This year the celebrities who took part in the Mahotsav with their high spirited performances were Kirtidan Gadhavi, Kinjal Dave, Bhoomi Trivedi, Parthiv Gohil & Sachin Jigar.


Panchmahotsav 2019 marked total footfall of more than 12 lakhs who enjoyed different activities and attractions of the event.
