Ravi Kishen and Manoj Bajpai, the country cousins, have locked horns over the promotion of their film 1971- Prisoners of War. Ravi has demanded as much or more publicity than Manoj Bajpai, since he is a bigger star after Bigg Boss being as saleable as Manoj and that he should be given equal importance."

The film story is of Indian PoWs in Pakistan, and shows Bajpai as the leader of a pack comprising Ravi Kishen and others.

A source from the production unit says, "Ravi is miffed by the projection of Manoj Bajpai as the hero of the film. When the film was being shot, Ravi was not yet as popular a star as he is now.

He feels that, Ravi has been getting mainstream Hindi film offers and feels that his career is on an upswing. However, the supposedly rising star denied that he was throwing tantrums and said, "I am happy with the promos and have no complaints.

No doubt the story revolves around Manoj, but I have performed so well that viewers will come out of movie halls appreciating me."

Later, he added, "These posters were printed before Bigg Boss happened. But the next time I will see to it that these things are taken care of. Henceforth, I will be doing solo films only."
