ZEE5's upcoming original, State of Siege: 26/11, based on Sandeep Unnithan's best-selling novel 'Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11 produced by Abhimanyu Singh and directed by Matthew Leutwyler.

The series will shed light on hitherto unknown facts about the attacks. It was the first attack where foreigners had been deliberately targeted, to break India's relations with international countries.

When asked about a few unknown facts which the audience will witness in the series, Sandeep Unnithan said, `There are a lot of unknown facts the nation will witness in this series. One unknown fact which many of us don't know is, why the terrorists were carrying Hyderabad student Ids? Well, the youth who had been infiltrated here would have fake ID cards of a college in Hyderabad, with Hindu names, mainly to confuse everyone. The idea was all 10 of them to be killed. They would all die fighting, including Kasab. And when their bodies are recovered, they will get these I-cards from the bodies which will identify them as Indians. This series will touch each one of our hearts with its unknown facts, I'm very excited to see how people are going to react to these facts after watching the series.`

This edge of the seat thriller also features an impressive cast comprising Arjan Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani, Vivek Dahiya, Sid Makkar, Tara Alisha Berry, Khalida Jaan, Jyoti Gauba, Roshni Sahota, Suzanne Bernert, Naren Kumar and Jason Shah.
