Deepti Naval is on the verge of a new film release, Yatra. she is also set to attend a retrospective of her films
in Los Angeles on April 19.
"I've been invited to the Indian Film Festival. It's an honour, because I don't generally get honoured in this
way. Last year, they honoured Naseeruddin Shah. So, I'm in august company," laughs Deepti. They'll be
showing some of my best works, like Main Zinda Hoon, Kamla, Ankahee and Panchvati. It feels good to
have your work honoured."
Deepti is also happy with her work in Goutam Ghosh's Yatra. She says, "I play Nana Patekar's wife. The
last time we got together was for Shakti and again I really enjoyed myself, though I had only one important
scene with Nana."
She's will be signing another film with Nana and then there's the sequel to Saath Saath, a film close to her
heart.
