The Director-Showman Subhash Ghai was pleasantly surprised when Shah Rukh Khan visited him at his institute Whistling Woods International in Film City without any prior notice.

He gifted Ghai the latest hi-tech VNO mobile handset and also dropped in for a visit with Ghai's students.

"Shah Rukh was shooting for KBC 3 nearby, so he decided to drop by and surprise my students. He surprised me too when he presented me with the VNO high-tech mobile handset.

According to Ghai, both Shah Rukh and his passion for gadgets go back to their Pardes days. "Ever since we interacted in Pardes, we have bonded over gadgets."
