Rimmi said an outright no to playing a Sachin Tendulkar fan in the film and this is why.

"I was a huge Tendulkar fan when I was a kid. I wanted to get married to him! However, when he got married I was completely heartbroken and gave up watching cricket completely.

So when Milan suggested Sachin, I decided to stick to Dhoni.

In Hattrick also, I play a person who has nothing to do with cricket till she gets married to Kunal Kapoor. She gets so obsessed with Dhoni that Kunal gets annoyed," she says.

Rimmi has suddenly become choosy about her roles says, "When I started off, I wanted to be part of big films without giving to much importance to the roles. Now I want to do good films. I am doing Johny Gaddar and De Talli where I have pivotal roles."
