Filmmaker Karan Johar and superstar Shah Rukh Khan go way back. Their friendship dates back to the 90s even before Johar's directorial debut 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Ever since that, we all know those two have worked on some great films together: Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Name Is Khan to name a few. Now, we even have a throwback photo to bring back the nostalgia of the 90s and the warm bond the duo shares. Recently, Karan decided to dig into his archives and look at what he found!

Its a priceless picture from actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor's Sangeet ceremony on December 7, 1997 that he shared on Instagram. SRK is seen dancing out his best moves while Karan awkwardly tries to keep up in the background. Sanjay's nephew, filmmaker and entrepreneur Akshay Marwah, dropped a comment: "Wow. I remember this night completely!! It was insane chaiya chaiya all the way!" Check it out:

Their association goes way back- they first met on the sets of 'Karan Arjun' (1995) and later starred together in 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', which released the same year. In his memoir, 'An Unsuitable Boy', Karan revealed that SRK was hurt when he made a film, 'Student of the Year', without him. He admitted that there they had drifted apart for a while but eventually worked out the differences.
