Hundred is a breath-taking and roller coaster ride which opens up to one of the protagonists, Netra Patil (Rinku Rajguru, primarily a Marathi film actress of Sairat fame) beating up someone mercilessly in rage, and how her day has changed with the detection of a malignant tumour. This web series is her journey over her limited number days of survival and how she copes and transforms to live her dream.

The story basically revolves around this ordinary looking lower middle class female who lives and takes care of her tired and retired father, school-going brother and aging grandfather. She lost her mother to the same dreadful ailment, and that's probably she got the government job of her mother.

The knowledge of having limited time at her disposal wants her to experiment with everything and live life to the fullest. This fascination for adventure leads her to a bar where she gets high, it being her first time. There she comes across our second protagonist Saumya Shukla (Lara Dutta), the ACP of Mumbai. Saumya or Sam to her misogynist husband, Pravin (Sudhanshu Pandey) and her boss, DCP (Parmeet Sethi), she is kept away from high profile cases and prized postings. She is quite perturbed at getting unfair treatment by her boss, who is bent on exploiting her glamour by having her perform only PR activities for the Mumbai Police. She is kept away from the real policing... which really frustrates her no end. Her constant transfers agonises her even more. And her chance encounter with Netra at the bar where she is there to catch a drug peddler is a turning point in the life of both these females.

And when Sam discovers that Netra's days on this Earth are numbered, she eggs her to live life in fast lane. And so Netra falls in Sam's lap like a proverbial apple and Sam starts exploiting her to further her lacklustre career. The bubbly and vivacious Netra enjoys this new found role as a police informer to the hilt. She even starts playing side games of her own to earn some pocket money from these misadventures.

In the process, Netra comes across Manohar Dahiya (Karan Wahi) who lives in Sam's flat. Manohar or Maddy, a part-time police informer cum Sam's gigolo aspires to be a rapper and is desperate to make a music video to kickstart his career. She goes out of the way to cancel her Switzerland trip and finances Maddy to shoot the video.

Inspite of her efforts, Sam is still not rewarded by her department. And this makes her start playing some dangerous games to catch the high and mighty. And Sam enjoys playing good cop bad cop without caring a hoot for Netra. Oblivious to all this, Netra acts only as a pawn in this game of Chess being played by Sam. She becomes so self-centred while playing this deadly game that when san discovers that Netra is not suffering with cancer, she doesn't divulge it to her. Her evil side starts cactusing even more with each successful operation accomplished with the help of Netra.

In another twist, Pravin starts tracking Sam's activities and in turn discovers Maddy and her ownership of a flat. When confronted, Sam hands over her asset to Pravin to escape her hubby's wrath.

In the meanwhile, Netra comes across Satyendra Ahir or Sattu Uncle (Makrand Deshpande), a hawala dealer. Sattu Uncle's nephew, Shantanu (Rajeev Siddhartha) who also happens to his partner looks after their business of cricket gambling falls for Netra and vice versa. During her interactions with Ahirs, she learns of their dealings with Kadam and his tacit support for illegal activities.

Sam starts getting good media and Mule, the local MLA supports her whenever she's in trouble with the department. And in return of she promises a big fish in his opponent, MLA Kadam. And Netra stupidly hands Kadam and Sattu Uncle on a platter to Sam, while extracting a promise from Sam to safeguard Shantanu. And then emerges a twist in the tale which ensures the 2nd season to be much awaited.

Rinku Rajguru's histronics are well known and her smooth transition from Marathi to Hindi cinema is brilliant. Lara Dutta has delivered a killer performance and fits perfectly in the role. Karan Wahi has good Haryanvi dialect and his acting is also good except for one drunkard's scene.

This brilliance of a thriller can be gauged from the fact that it is engrossing and makes you binge watch it without battling an eyelid. And all the credit goes to Abhishek Dubey for giving a wonderful story, full of twists and turns. A must and mast watch for everybody!
