Nawazuddin Sisddiqui has been quite the talk of the B-Town from the past few days. Whether it is his upcoming digital comedy-drama film 'Ghoomketu' or more recently, the news of him and his family being quarantined at their home in Muzaffarnagar after they reached there from Mumbai last week. Now, the actors has made the headlines once again and this time it is because his wife Aaliya SIddiqui has filed for a divorce.

Yes! in a quite shocking way Aaliya who has been married to Nawazuddin for 11 years has now filed for a divorce and sent a legal notice to the actor seeking maintenance from him. According to a report from Navbharat Times, Aaliya's lawyer has revealed that she had already sent the notice on 7th May but due to the current scenario she sent another notice separately to Nawaz on May 13th. Reportedly, Aaliya sent the notice to Nawaz on Whatsapp.

Nawazuddin SIddiqui and Aaliya married in 2009 and have two kids together. There has been no response from Nawaz's side till now and if the actor doesn't respond with next 15 days a legal action taken against him according to Aaliya's lawyer. Currently Nawazuddin is at his home in Muzaffarnagar with his gamily under qurantine for 14 days.

Talking about the same, Nawaz had tweeted "Due to the recent loss of my younger sister, my mother who is 71-years-old, got an anxiety attack twice. We have followed all the guidelines given by the State Government. We are home quarantined at our hometown Budhana. Please stay home, stay safe."
