Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the world has come to a halt and the sectors that are still active are working with only half of their capacity. But the film industry hasn't been that lucky coming to a complete standstill due to the lockdown which has affected the employment of thousands of people. Hence, Bollywood also wants to slowly go back on track Khiladi Kumar has taken the initiative.

Recently, some pictures of Akshay Kumar have surfaced on social media where he can be seen shooting with director R. Balki. It is reported that both were shooting for a coronavirus awareness ad film for the Central Government so all the necessary permissions and precautions were taken before starting the shoot. According to sources, this ad also features Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Raojiani and Virat Kohli apart from Akshay. Check out the picture here -

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide lockdown that followed Akshay has been very active in spreading awareness about the virus and helping the needy. The superstar has donated more than Rs 30 crores to fight the pandemic and for the relief work which is the largest amount donated by a film star to fight the coronavirus.

On the work front, 'Suryavanshi' was scheduled to release on March 24th but had to be pushed further due to the lockdown. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi marks the return of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's superhit pair on the silver screen after a gap of 10 years. It also stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh as 'Bajirao Singham' and 'Simmba'.
