Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput (34), well known for his performances in films such as 'Chhichhore', 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', and 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' was found dead on Sunday in his apartment at Bandra, Mumbai. His body was found hanging with ceiling fan around 1:30 p.m when his domestic helper who tried to wake him up for lunch, found his bedroom door locked and called a locksmith to open it. His anonymous death has shocked the nation.

Sushant started his career with TV serial 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' but he rose to popularity from Zee TV's much-loved daily soap 'Pavitra Rishta'. On the filmy front, he got his first break in Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kai Po Che' (2013) and later he starred in 'Shuddh Desi Romance' (2013) as a solo lead actor. He garnered tremendous applause for MS Dhoni: The Untold Story where he played the former Indian cricket team captain. The film was among the most successful films of 2016. He also received critical acclaim for his role in Dibakar Banerjee's 2015 movie, 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy'.

Whether it was his short role in PK or holding his own against acting stalwarts such as Manoj Bajpayee in Abhishek Chaubey's 'Sonchiriya' (2019). Sushant Singh Rajput will always remain in the hearts of his fans and we are never gonna forget his contribution towards Hindi Cinema for his strong and impeccable performances.
