The buzz is that the ‘Shahenshah' of Bollywood may play the lead role in the film Alexander the Great.The most fascinating thing about this is that the film is to be made by one of Hollywood's leading and most controversial directors, Oliver Stone.

Stone went to Leh, Ladakh and Dharmasala looking for a suitable location for the film and also met some actors during a visit to Mumbai. Grapevine has it that on being asked by the ace director, his friend, Gulshan Grover, recommended the name of the Big B for the title role. According to Grover, he didn't want to suggest anyone but the best, someone who ‘fits the bill'. Certainly, who else, but the ‘Shahenshah' as Alexander the Great.
