Salman Khan's blockbuster film `Sultan` (2016), a Hindi sports drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar has completed 4 years today and #4yearsofSultan is trending on Twitter. The film starred Salman Khan as 'Sultan' and Anushka Sharma as Aarfa Ali Khan, Sultan's wife in lead roles.

The movie focuses on Sultan Ali Khan, a fictional pehlwani wrestler and former world wrestling champion from Haryana whose personal life is affected by his successful career. The film was released worldwide on July 6th, 2016 and was one of the top five highest-grossing Indian films ever as its final domestic gross was ₹421.25 crores. Produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the movie was a blockbuster. Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma received the Filmfare awards for Best Actor and Actress (Viewer's Choice) for Sultan in the year 2017. Salman will be seen next in Prabhu Deva's action-drama film 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai'. The film was set to release on May 22nd this year but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is now rumoured to be releaseing on the festival of Diwali on November 14th, 2020.
