There are several rumours about the casting of Bollywood actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kartik Aaryan in the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's big hits 'DJ' and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo'.

Duvvada Jagannadham or DJ (2017) is an Indian Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Harish Shankar and rumours are rife that Sidharth Malhotra can be seen in the Hindi remake of the film. Kartik Aaryan is also in talks for the Hindi remake of another hit of Allu Arjun 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', a 2020 Indian Telugu-language action-drama film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. However, nothing is confirmed yet but the fans are hoping for a positive update.

On the filmy front, Sidharth Malhotra will be next seen in Vishnuvardhan's 'Shershah', an upcoming biographical war action film based on the life and journey of Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra. Whereas Kartik will be featuring in Anees Bazmee's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', an upcoming comedy horror film that also stars Kiara Advani and Tabu.
