Recently megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and have been admitted to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya also got tested COVID positive and were home quarantined for a few days. Now Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also been admitted to the hospital due to their deteriorating health condition.

Amitabh thanked all his fans and well-wishers on social media for showering so much love and prayers for the Bachchan family. Amitabh's fans in Kolkata have organized a special 'yagna' for Amitabh and will continue the whole family recovers from the deadly virus. Senior Bachchan wrote on Instagram, '' In happy times , in times of illness, you our near and dear, our well wishers, our fans have ever given us unstinting love , affection care and prayer .. we express our bountiful gracious gratitude to you all .. in these circumstances hospital protocol is restrictive , so individual responses are not possible .. but we see, read, hear all of you .. thank you ever 🙏'' .
