Hansal Mehta, known for directing critically acclaimed films such as 'Aligarh', 'Omerta', and National Award winner 'Shahid', is now ready to direct a web series based on the life of Gangster Vikas Dubey. The filmmaker has confirmed the news by quoting a journalist tweet who shared the project details on Twitter.

According to the original tweet, the web series will be a 'sharp political-thriller' that 'explores the nexus between politics, crime, and lawmakers'. The web series will be produced by Shailesh R Singh's Karma Media and Entertainment in collaboration with Polaroid Media.
