Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Abhishek Varman's 'Kalank' along with Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonakshi Sinha in the pivotal roles. The actress will be seen next in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' which also stars Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi, Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmāstra' opposite Ranbir Kapoor, and S. S. Rajamouli's 'RRR'' which also features Ajay Devgn and Ram Charan in the lead roles.

'Sadak 2' is the first film in which Alia will be seen working with her father Mahesh Bhatt in his directorial venture. The film also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. 'Sadak 2' is streaming on the Disney+Hotstar platform.
