Akshay takes a spooky turn!

Akshay Kumar is so ready to experiment with his roles after the success of Namastey London's to the extent of working with Nagesh Kukunoor in his new film which is in the genre of Manoj Night Shyamalan's supernatural thriller, The Sixth Sense.

Kumar is a mixed bag of feelings right now after having to come to terms with the untimely death of long-time business manager, Vikas Bali, who recently succumbed to a massive heart attack.

Discussions with Nagesh have been on for a while now. It is only recently that the script was finally ready and that's when Akshay gave his nod. The as-yet-untitled film is to be produced by Percept Picture Company.

Says Akshay, "I don't think a film like this has ever been made in India."

This will the first time Akshay shoots with an entirely foreign crew.

The film, will go on floors sometime in September, has a non-stop shooting schedule. Locations are yet to be finalised, but in all probability the shooting will take place abroad.

Says Akshay, "I've done action, I've done romance and I've done comedy. Now it's time to take a step further." The actor is also on a high after Namastey London clicked at the box office.The collections have crossed a whopping Rs 62 crore worldwide, and is Akshay's biggest hit yet in the overseas market.
