On September 9th, Akshay Kumar celebrated his 53rd birthday in Scotland along with his family and film cast and crew. As in Scotland, he is shooting for his next spy-drama film 'Bell Bottom'. On his special day, the filmmakers also unveiled Akshay's retro look from the spy-thriller film. While wishing him, Akshay's wife Twinkle also posted pictures of beautiful cards made by the couple's daughter in the row on social media which had two messages, "I love you daddy" and "happy birthday."

On his birthday, Twinkle Khanna also shared pictures posing with Akshay and a birthday cake on Instagram and denoted him as a big boy. In the picture, she can be seen wearing a green top and sunglasses, on the other side, Akshay can be seen in a grey sweatshirt. On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen next in director Aanand L Rai's romantic-drama film, 'Atrangi Re' which features Sara Ali Khan and South superstar Dhanush in the lead roles. Besides this, Akshay Kumar has Raghava Lawrence's horror-comedy film, 'Laxmmi Bomb' which is set to release in November 2020, Rohit Shetty's cop universe film, 'Sooryavanshi', Chandraprakash Dwivedi's historic-drama film, 'Prithviraj' opposite Manushi Chhillar.
