Anupam Kher is playing his most challenging role yet in Rahul Rawail's comedy film, Buddha Mar Gaya where he plays dead.

"It's not easy playing dead on screen because it isn't just for one sequence, as I did in Khosla Ka Ghosla. Nor did I have the luxury of closing my eyes and playing dead. I had to do the entire film with my eyes open! Buddha Mar Gaya is my most deadly role yet," puns Kher, good-naturedly.

He adds that there was only one way in which he could have played dead without tripping over. "It was by thinking of nothingness. You've to keep your mind completely free of thought. I went as blank as some of the so-called ‘actors'.
