After winning the hearts of many with 'Kabir Singh', Shahid Kapoor is now all set for his forthcoming film 'Yodha'. After the completion of his another upcoming sports drama film 'Jersey', Shahid will start the shoot of Shashank Khaitan's 'Yodha'.

Talking about 'Yodha', did you know that Ranbir Kapoor was Shashank's first choice for the film. Shashank thought Ranbir would be fit for the role, however, Ranbir didn't go for the role for several reasons. The next perfect fit was thought to be Shahid, and he also liked the script when we was offered the film, adding the film to his lined-up projects.

Reportedly, Disha Patani will be seen in the female lead opposite Shahid. This is the first time when Shahid and Disha will be paired romantically in a film.

Talking about Ranbir's upcoming projects, he will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' along with her rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt. He has also grabbed Luv Ranjan's next co-starring Shraddha Kapoor.

Disha Patani, on the other hand, will next be featured in Prabhu Deva's 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' opposite Salman Khan and in Mohit Suri's 'Do Villain' that also stars John Abraham, Aditya Roy Kapur and Tara Sutaria in lead roles.
