Akshay Kumar is currently shooting in the highlands of Scotland for his forthcoming film 'Bell Bottom' along with the whole team of the film.The actor has now turned rescuer for the producers as he has decided to break his ideal rule of working 8 hours a day after 18 years only for 'Bell Bottom'.

The disciplined actor shocked everyone with his recommendation of taking double shifts,two simultaneous units shooting to ensure that the shoot goes on a fast pace and help the producers save their money in this lockdown.

Talking about this plan of Akshay, Jackky Bhagnani said, `Akshay sir is truly a producer's actor and it has been a privilege to work with him. He is constantly thinking about everyone and everything. From safety measures for the entire unit to shooting schedules to the challenges faced by producers - the man is pure gold. Akshay sir is doing a double shift for the first time in 18 years. So when he suggested two units we were absolutely stunned and excited at the same time. And seeing his work discipline and respect for time, everyone on the sets is super energized and also pitching in their best. It's like well-oiled machinery working round the clock to make this happen."

Directed by Ranjit M. Tewari, 'Bell Bottom' is a spy thriller that also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in lead roles. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani, the film is set to release on 2 April, 2021.
