Speaking of her mother, Sonakshi in an interview with a leading portal had earlier shared that her mother is her 'safety blanket' as she can totally depend on her without being judged or questioned. `For me, my mother is the safety blanket I can resort to anytime without being judged or questioned, so what can top that? On this day, I like to honour her for all that she has given me, and celebrate her for all that she has achieved.`

Talking about Sonakshi's professional life, the actress was last seen in Prabhu Deva's comedy film 'Dabbang 3' along with superstar Salman Khan. She will next be seen in Abhisekh Dudhaiya's war action film 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India' that will star Ajay Devgn in the lead role. The film will release on Disney Plus Hotstar.
