Tantrums and Bollywood are often synonymous and it is also not unusual that upcoming actors would be throwing tantrums from time to time to prove their star worth. After all what is a star without liberal does of peevishness!

But it really cones as a surprise (or say shock) to learn that even senior actors often resort to such cheap means, God knows for what. If you don't believe this, let us tell you about a recent incident in the industry.

The buzz is that Shishir Sharma, who essayed the role of Saraswati (Kshitee Jog) and Laxmi's (Twinkle Bajpai) father-in-law Nekchand in the Zee daily Ghar Ki Laxmi – Betiyaan, was asked to leave the show due to 'unprofessional conduct'.

Sai Bilal is now essaying the role.

According to a close source in the unit, "Shishirji would always make unreasonable demands. He would refuse to sit and wait for very long and also throw tantrums about the temperature on the sets and over other minor issues. It was difficult to bow to his demands all the time".

When we got in touch with Shishir Sharma to know his side of the story, he consciously tried hard to evade the topic of tantrums and chose to give other reasons instead.

"I actually left, as I did not like the role and the way it was progressing. Before I joined, they told me something else and what I was doing was something else. So, it was a mutual decision to part ways," he asserted.

Surprisingly, even director Rajan Shahi refused to confirm rumours regarding Sharma's tantrums. Instead, Shahi too seemed to toe the line adopted by Shishir!

When contacted, Shahi said, "Shishir left because he was not happy with the role. He had a different image about the character he played. Unfortunately, the role turned out to be different."

Seems that after being a part of the industry for all these years, they, like many others, have mastered the diplomacy game and are adept in playing it well. Hence, the effort to cover up the mess and sent it under the carpet, while blaming the fiasco on the so-called ‘creative differences'. But then, where is there smoke without fire?

Meanwhile, our source revealed, "It's a relief for everyone after Shishirji left. Now everyone is breathing easy."

Also thankfully, Sai Bilal, who has replaced the actor, is happy with his role. "I am happy with the role currently and let's see how it progresses later. I had a chat with Shishir and he explained me the role."

Looks like, as of now there is no room for tantrums any more. - (SAMPURN)
