Following the novel coronavirus, the festival is a bit different this year and people are advised to celebrate at their homes.

Dussehra, or Vijayadashami, is one of the biggest festivals celebrated by Hindus. The festival marks the end of the nine-day festival of Navratri as well as celebrations of Durga Puja. Dussehra celebrates the victory of good over evil.
