Pritam is a happy man these days. Being a rock music fan, Pritam has not only got to compose music based on it for Metro, but the people as well as the critics have appreciated the film's music and it is also doing well.

In his college days, Pritam had a rock band that used to entertain the students and staff at every college fest. Luckily, Metro director Anurag Basu, who is a rock music fan himself, gave Pritam the liberty of composing rock-based themes for the movie.

When contacted, Pritam ruled out any possibility of cutting a solo album stating that his voice is ‘patla' (shrill) and does not suit the Hindi composition. He says that he is better off with the western songs.

Pritam, who is a much happier man after his marriage to his childhood sweetheart Smita, also says that post marriage his life has not changed much, but he enjoys being scolded by his better half for his bad habits.

This music composer, who has given some chartbuster music in the recent past, also discloses that he had been offered the chair of a judge at various talent shows, but he declined the offers since it is not his cup of tea. He agrees that he is in no position to analyze or criticize people and even cannot bear tears in their eyes.

Dear Pritam, do you need some tuition from Himesh bhai?
