The third session of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is proving to be an exciting one. While the viewers are excited over the news of Shekhar Suman's return to co-host the show, now there is news that the producers have roped in a female contestant named Arti Kandpal for the show.

While this is indeed a novel idea, our sources say that Arti too is excited to step into the ‘so far' male-dominated show and is rehearsing hard to beat her competitors hands down. Arti says that it is her mother's dream that she would be famous one the telly circuit!

Reacting to the entry of a female contestant in the show, popular comedian Sunil Pal says, "It's good news that a woman has stepped into this show," adding, "People think women can't make anyone laugh, they are made for creating tensions only! I hope the notion will change now."

Pal goes on to add, "We have seen women only in sad moods or hatching conspiracies on the screen. We should encourage women to enter such type of shows."

It seems that every one is now waiting for this new season of the show.

Meanwhile, Arti Kandpal has a role model. She likes erstwhile film actress Manorama for her comic roles. Now, only future will say whether Arti will be able to do a Manorama and increase the viewership of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. - (SAMPURN)
