Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla are brothers known for directing stylish suspense, action and romantic thrillers in Bollywood with dark-lighted themes. The duo directed Bollywood films like Khiladi, Baazigar, Soldier, Ajnabee, Baadshah, Aitraaz, Humraaz, 36 China Town, Race, Race 2 and comedian Kapil Sharma's debut movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. Now with a new film 'Penthouse', the duo brother-director is all set to be back with their next digital venture. With their OTT debut, they have signed Bobby Deol, Arjun Rampal and Sharman Joshi to play the leads. It has also revealed that the film will directly release on the streaming giant Netflix.

Now, the director duo has locked Mouni Roy for the lead actress along with, 'Fan' fame actress Waluscha De Sousa and Grand Masti fame Manjari Fadnis. The three actresses will be romantically paired opposite the three heroes who play business partners and share a penthouse to discreetly meet their girlfriends. Abbas and Mustan are done with the film post-production and will kick off the shooting on November 2nd in Mumbai.

According to the sources, "Abbas-Mustan will shoot the first stint of the Netflix film in a penthouse that's been erected at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon. It's a short schedule that will be followed by an outdoor shoot where the film's flashback sequences will be canned." Although the director was set to start the shooting of the film in April month due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they slated the schedule for the future.

According to the reports, the film story will revolve around six characters who begin suspecting each other after the dead body of a lady is found in the penthouse only they have the keys of. The director brothers reunited with Bobby Deol 13 years after Soldier (1998), Ajnabee (2001), Humraaz (2002) and Naqaab (2007). The film 'Penthouse will release on Netflix in 2021.
