Bollywood has always been inspired by Hollywood films whether it is the action or romantic genre, getting an idea from massive blockbusters became an easy way to save time on scriptwriting. For the past few years also, several filmmakers have opted the way to remake South films and now they are moved towards South Korean films remake. As for, whether it is John Abraham's 'Rocky Handsome' or Salman Khan's 'Bharat' or 'Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai', getting influenced by the films and writing the films again according to the Indian drop back, helps the filmmakers to explore some of the unique stories.

Now it has been reported that Kartik Aaryan is set to team up with Ram Madhvani (who is known for directing Neerja) for the first time for a remake of the Korean thriller 'The Terror Live', which will go on floors in the first week of December. The Terror Live is a 2013 South Korean action thriller film written and directed by Kim Byung-woo. It stars Ha Jung-woo as an ambitious news anchorman who monopolizes the live broadcast of a terrorist attack following the explosion of Mapo Bridge on the Han River, as the story unfolds within the narrow confines of a radio booth.

According to the media report, "The flick will have Kartik Aaryan essaying the main lead and the role of a newsman who's running against time to save the city. The report added that in the original film, the main protagonist discovers that he's been rigged with a bomb after he has an exclusive interview with a terrorist who blew up a bridge. The film will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller and Ram Madhvani will be leading the team, added the report."

The report further disclosed that Kartik is all charged up to embark on this new journey, as he has so far not been featured in this genre. The movie is a Korean classic thriller and the details will be kept under wraps.

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's film 'Love Aaj Kal' (2020) opposite Sara Ali Khan, which failed at the box office. Now, he will be going to see next in Anees Bazmee's 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 2' opposite Kiara Advani and Collin D'Cunha's 'Dostana 2' along with Janhvi Kapoor and newcomer Laksh Lalwani. The actor would return to his shoot for horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' in February 2021.
