After the massive success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is all set to rock on the silver screen once again with his upcoming sports drama film 'Jersey'. The actor recently wrapped the Uttarakhand schedule of 'Jersey' and is currently shooting some cricket shots in Chandigarh.

Shahid is one of the most hardworking actors in Bollywood who always try to put in his 100 per cent in every character he plays. And for Jersey also, the actor is playing really hard to get into the character as Shahid is shooting day and night to get the perfect shots. Recently, Shahid shared some glimpses of his early morning cricket practices on Instagram along with an inspirational message for all the passionates out there. He wrote, " Get up and get going. Morning all. #jersey... it's never too late to dream."

Meanwhile, Gowtam Tinnanuri's 'Jersey' is a sports drama film and a remake of a 2019 Telugu-language film under the same title. It features Shahid Kapoor in the lead role as a cricketer who stopped his cricketing career ten years ago, now aiming to play for the Indian team. Mrunal Thakur has grabbed the female lead in the film.

Backed by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, and Dil Rajuwas, the film was scheduled to be theatrically released on 28 August 2020 but got delayed due to COVID-19.
