Akshay Khanna is one of those few Bollywood actors who have kept a pretty low profile when it comes to dealing with the media.

Despite this there have been many a things being written about his personal life.

Reports confirm that Akshay had an affair with Tara Sharma, but till the time the affair was on, it was under the wraps. It was only when they broke off that it became public.

If reports are to be believed, Akshay also had close relationship with his co-star Urvashi Sharma in his upcoming film ‘Naquab'.

Akshay, however, brushes off all such rumors saying; "I never knew I was having an affair with her". The latest that was heard about Akshay was that current his love interest is a girl from New York. This time though Akshay said, "I'm from India and why should I have an affair with a girl from New York? After all lovers should stay close to each other. She would be an Indian".

When asked if such rumors irritate him, this cool-headed star said, "I enjoy the rumors that are written or broadcast about me and the only thing which irritates me is the road conditions of Mumbai".
