The voice of Hindi cinema, Lata Mangeshkar may finally get around to her first international album after more than 60 years of ruling the sub-continent!!!

The Lata bhakt composer Aadesh Shrivastavhas been persuading Lataji to take the plunge The album that he's just finished with hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean, might just have some Lata's contributions in alaaps.

Avdesh says, "Only she can bring that sense of melodious grace and harmony to that album. I've contributed extensively to the percussion section of the album, especially on the dhol. But without Lata didi's voice my first international album would be adhura."

Lata, currently is putting the finishing touches to her first ghazal album in two decades. Asha Bhonsle, Lata's sister, has gone international so many times. Lata, has never done any international album barring the remix of Bappi Lahiri's Thoda resham lagta hai.
