Shahid Kapoor, who is currently shooting in Chandigarh for his upcoming film 'Jersey' recently took to Instagram to pen a sweet birthday wish for her mother Neelima Azim. Shahid shared a throwback picture of his mother and gave all his love with his adorable wish.

In the picture, Neelima can be seen sitting in a boat, surrounded by seagulls, looking up at the sky and giving a random pose. While wishing his mother, Shahid wrote, 'Mom..... I love you ..... happy happy birthday.' Check out his post here -

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kapoor is practising hard in Chandigarh for her upcoming sports-drama film. Jersey also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor and is a Hindi remake of a Telugu hit of the same name. The Hindi version is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who also helmed the 2019 original.

The story is about a talented but failed cricketer named Arjun, who decides to make a comeback in his late thirties and play for India, in order to fulfil his son's wish. The film is slated to release theatrically next year.
