Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don 2 is an action-thriller film that received an immense amount of love from the audience and became a box office success. Directed and co-written by Farhan Akhtar, the film also featured Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Om Puri, Boman Irani and Kunal Kapoor in significant roles. Today, as the film completed nine long years of its success, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar took it to Instagram to celebrate the special day with his fans.

Farhan shared a clip of the film that featured all the iconic scenes with all the iconic dialogues. While sharing the video, Farhan captioned the post, "9 years and counting, the chase is still on. Here's celebrating #9YearsOfDon2" Check out his post here -

Don 2 was a sequel to 2006 film Don that featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Don 2 received great reviews for the performances and action-packed scenes, however, it received negative comments on its pace and music. The film, at the time of its release, was one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time and is the third highest-grossing Indian film of 2011.

Meanwhile, rumours of Don 3 are in the market as fans are eagerly waiting for the makers to come up with another part. Nothing has been confirmed yet but yet the public awaits the comeback of King Khan as Don.
